2003年8月10~15日,2年一次的国际历史语言学讨论会(International Conference on Historical Linguistics)在丹麦哥本哈根大学召开了第16届会议(ICHL2003)。本次会议收到的论文提要、涉及语种以及与会人数均为历届之最。经过评审,共接受了246份提要,实际宣读236份。与会学者来自五大洲35个国家,西方学者占绝大多数,如:美国的Henning Andersen(加州大学洛杉矶分校,其新作《史前语言接触》在会议前问世),Joan Bybee,(新墨西哥大学),Jay Jasanoff(哈佛大学),Scott DeLancey(俄
The bi-annual International Conference on Historical Linguistics, held from August 10 to 15, 2003, held its 16th session (ICHL2003) at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference received a summary of the paper, involving languages and the number of participants are the most previous. After the review, a total of 246 summaries were received, 236 were actually read. Scholars from over 35 countries on five continents come from the vast majority of Western scholars such as Henning Andersen of the United States (UCLA, whose new book Prehistoric Language Contact was published before the conference), Joan Bybee (University of New Mexico), Jay Jasanoff (Harvard University), Scott DeLancey (Russia
