In April 1944, in order to save the fate of the imminent destruction, the Japanese base camp was launched on the Chinese battlefield in order to open up the mainland’s traffic lines, and then destroy the U.S. Air Force bases in China and scored Sichuan’s “No.1 combat.” In the middle of the battlefield in Yuzhong, the Japanese troops invested about four divisions in their troops and attacked the city. Only in more than a month, they occupied more than half of Henan. However, in Lingling, Lushi and Xixia Kou’s front lines, our army made use of the intricate natural terrain obstructed by the complex mountainous terrain in the west of Henan Province, bringing the Japanese invaders into a difficult situation and finally forming a stalemate with the enemy until the end of the year.
