Errors are not uncommon in the organization. But based on the motivation to build a good image, employees seldom take the initiative to admit mistakes. Based on the theory of self-knowledge and information processing, putting forward positive self-awareness of employees will promote error recognition, while mistakes will be passed to the higher level to affect their performance evaluation of employees. Through the investigation of 675 employees and their peer superiors in two stages, using the sandwich analysis method, we found that employee self-efficacy positively affects the error acknowledgment. The error acknowledgment has no significant effect on the performance evaluation of superior employees, but significantly reduces the negative effect The assessment of production behavior, which illustrates the reward for error recognition.
