目的了解近10年(2007—2016年)SCI收录热带医学及相关学科领域的论文发表情况、热带医学交叉涉及的学科门类、相关的重要研究机构、项目资助等情况。方法以Web of Science数据中期刊引证报告数据库(JCR)中的学科分类为依据,对热带医学、公共环境职业健康、传染病、寄生虫病学4门学科的期刊在2007—2016年间发表的研究论文进行统计分析。结果从4门学科相关的310本期刊共检索得到480 413篇研究论文,分析表明这些研究与免疫学、微生物、药理学与药学、环境科学等存在较大的交叉。SCI数据库收录的热带医学及相关学科发表的研究论文数量总体呈现增长趋势。美国是发表论文数量最多和高被引论文最多的国家,中国在热带医学及相关学科领域的参与论文占比从2007年2.17%激增到2016年的5.98%,是所有国家中增幅最大的。国际上主要有影响力的研究机构是加州大学系统、哈佛大学、美国疾病预防控制中心等机构,中国排名最靠前的是中国国家疾病预防控制中心、香港大学、复旦大学等机构。资金资助方面,大部分是来自各国国家机构的资助,国外有一部分来自慈善资金和生物制药公司的资助。国家自然科学基金是中国的主要资助来源,占20.58%。结论目前,美国在热带医学相关科研方面的总体实力和创新能力方面都领先于其他国家。随着国家经济实力的增强,中国在热带医学相关领域科研投入不断增加,科研产出也呈现明显的增长趋势,但在自主创新方面亟待加强。从资金资助模式来看,国外的民间慈善机构和生物制药公司在研发上的投入是值得我们学习和借鉴的。
Objective To understand the publication of papers published in tropical medicine and related disciplines in the past 10 years (2007-2016) by SCI, the disciplines involved in tropical medicine, relevant research institutes and project grants. Methods Based on the classification of the subjects in Journal of Citation Database (JCR) of the Web of Science, this study was published in the period 2007-2016 on 4 disciplines of Tropical Medicine, Public Health Occupational Health, Infectious Diseases and Parasitology Papers for statistical analysis. Results A total of 480 413 research papers were retrieved from 310 journals related to 4 disciplines. The analysis shows that there is a large cross between these studies and immunology, microbiology, pharmacology and pharmacy, and environmental science. The number of research papers published in the tropical medicine and related disciplines included in the SCI database shows a general trend of growth. The United States is the country that has published the largest number of papers and the most highly cited papers. The share of China in the field of tropical medicine and related disciplines has risen sharply from 2.17% in 2007 to 5.98% in 2016, the largest increase among all countries. The most influential research institutes in the world are the University of California, Harvard University, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other agencies. The top-ranked research institutes in China are the Chinese National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Hong Kong University and Fudan University. In terms of funding, most of them are funded by state agencies in other countries, and some abroad is funded by charitable funds and biopharmaceutical companies. National Natural Science Foundation of China is the main source of funding, accounting for 20.58%. Conclusion Currently, the United States is ahead of other countries in terms of overall strength and innovation in tropical medicine related research. With the enhancement of the national economic strength, China has continuously increased its investment in scientific research in related fields of tropical medicine and its output of scientific research has also shown a clear trend of growth. However, it is urgent to strengthen its independent innovation. From the financial support model, foreign private charities and biopharmaceutical companies in the research and development investment is worth our study and reference.
