The three optical transducers developed by the German Federal Institute of Physics and Technology (PTB) produce high-end laser characteristics that can greatly “activate” existing laser sources. The first one is a pulse-continuous wave converter. The pulsed light generated by the beam source can be converted into continuous light and the repetition rate is also high enough. The second one is a single frequency laser long-term stabilizer, which is a pulse-AOM module , Which produces long-term, stable, narrow-line reference light. The third is an AOM-based self-reference system that measures the lowest phase noise of frequency combs and fiber lasers without the need for additional light sources.
