阐述了光纤光栅实现光开关的原理。从结构和材料两方面着手 ,采用掺镱的相位位移光纤光栅来降低对光功率的要求。应用传输矩阵法计算了相位位移光纤光栅的透射特性 ,表明相位位移光纤光栅用于光开关可降低光功率的要求。计算了不同抽运光功率下的消光比 ,结果表明利用掺镱的相位位移光纤光栅可以实现低抽运光功率的全光开关。
The principle of optical fiber grating is described. In terms of structure and material, the phase shift fiber grating with ytterbium is used to reduce the optical power requirement. Transmission matrix method was used to calculate the phase shift of the FBG transmission characteristics, indicating that the phase shift fiber grating for optical switching can reduce the optical power requirements. The extinction ratio under different pumping light powers was calculated. The results show that all - optical switch with low pumping power can be realized by using Yb - doped phase shift fiber grating.
