明代著名的唯物主义思想家王廷相的儿童教育思想丰富而深邃,他提出的“理在气中”“离气无性”的唯物主义本体论与人性论构成了其儿童教育思想的哲学基础;早期、正面、传统教育思想构成了其儿童道德教育思想的基本内容;“人道之知”与“习行之法”构成了其儿童实践教育的思想;以身作则与重视儿童的学习特点构成了其幼儿教习方式的思想。王廷相独树一帜的儿童教育思想同样具有当代价值:家庭教育应培养儿童良好的个性品质与道德行为习惯;应适应儿童的学习方式和特点,注重促进儿童社会化,培育其社会适应能力。
Wang Tingxiang, a well-known materialist thinker in the Ming Dynasty, had a rich and profound idea of children’s education. His materialist ontology and human nature theory, which he put forward in his theory of “being in the atmosphere” and “leaving aura”, constituted the philosophical basis of his children’s educational thinking. Early, positive and traditional educational thoughts constitute the basic content of their children’s moral education thoughts; “knowledge of humanity” and “law of practice” constitute the thought of their children’s practical education; lead by example and pay attention to the learning characteristics of children Constitute the idea of the way of preschool education. Wang Tingxiang’s unique thinking on children’s education also has contemporary value: family education should cultivate children’s good personality and moral behavior; should adapt to children’s learning styles and characteristics, pay attention to promoting children’s socialization and cultivate their social adaptability.
