Based on the hypothesis of lack of surface inflection, this paper explores the influence of communication pressure on the use of second-language English inflection marks. 47 Chinese undergraduates participated in an English sub-group discussion and subsequently completed a writing task based on the same topic. The analysis of the test mouth, the use of plural nouns in the corpus corpus, the past tense of the verb and the third-person singular mark in the present tense shows that there is a significant difference in the average accuracy of the flirting marks in spoken and written activities, indicating that the communicative stress In addition, the influence of communicative stress on the three kinds of inflection marks is different, and the plural sign of nouns is most significantly influenced by the interpersonal pressure. According to interview data, the indirect influencing factors may be the focus of current college English teaching and testing. The results of this study can provide further empirical support for the hypothesis of surface inflection.
