辽瓦店子遗址位于湖北十堰市郧县柳陂镇辽瓦村,东北距郧县县城12.5公里,东南距十堰市10公里。遗址地处汉江南岸的二级台地上,背靠丘陵低山,东部有一条季节性河流北入汉江,将遗址分为东、西两部分。遗址中心地理坐标为东经110°41′89″,北纬32°47′89″(图一)。为了配合南水北调中线工程的文物保护工作,受湖北省文物局委托,2005~2006年、2009~2010年,武汉大学考古系对辽瓦店子遗址进行了四次考古发掘,发现了大量新石器时代晚期至明清时期的遗迹和遗物,尤以新石器时代晚期至东周时期的 Liaowu shop son site is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Yun County Liubei Town Village, northeast from Yunxian county 12.5 km, 10 km from the southeast of Shiyan City.
