在工程建设中,为了提高填土的强度,增加土的密实度,降低其透水性和压缩性,常将填土夯实,夯实后,土体变得密实又坚硬,对工程很有利,所以工程上利用干密度作为夯实的质量检验指标。室内击实试验就是模拟工程现场的夯实原理,利用标准化的击实仪和操作规程,对土料施加一定的冲击荷载使之压实,从而确定所需的最大干密度和最优含水率,作为选择填土密度、夯实次数等主要依据。在击实试验的过程中,影响土的最优含水率和最大干密度因素较多,通过对这些影响因素的分析,提高土的击实效果,达到击实试验的目的。
