Susan Stewart is a famous American contemporary poet and critic, “the fate of poetry and feeling” is her representative criticism. Her poetics combines the knowledge of many disciplines and is characterized by diversity, interdisciplinarity and the times. She argues that poetry comes from the sensory experience, that poetry creation is a kind of shaping activity and a process of homosexualization of gods. The creation and acceptance of all aesthetics is to make the body of humanity truly authentic, vivid and clear. Nature is the eternal source of inspiration for poets. There is no absolute limit between the five sensory functions of human beings. The control of the senses in modern life has deepened the alienation of human and sensory organs and changed the way we perceive them. However, the sensory way as cognition does not disappear.
