A new complex [Co(NIT-1'-MeBzIm)Cl] (NIT-1'-MeBzIm = 2-{2'-[(1'-methyl)- benzimidazolyl] }-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide) has been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction method.The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, Z = 4.Crystal data: CHClCoNO, M = 704.51, a = 17.074(3), b = 21.350(3), c = 11.6962(19) (A), β= 108.879(2)°, V= 4034.3(11) (A),μ(MoKα) = 0.597 mm).
