瘦素(leptin,LP)是由肥胖基因(obese gene,ob)编码的146个氨基酸组成的多肽激素。瘦素通过与其受体的结合,活化细胞内多条信号转导通路,在调控摄食和能量消耗,促进细胞生长、造血等方面起重要作用,同时在促进细胞增殖分化、增加细胞侵袭性、促进血管形成和调节机体免疫等方面起作用。当瘦素缺失时,会导致过度肥胖。瘦素与其受体在乳腺癌、结肠癌等多种人类肿瘤中均有异常表达,与多种肿瘤的发生发展相关。
