Replacement refers to replacing part or the whole of a regular graphic with another element. Isomorphism is a visual language form that expresses information through the similarity of things. Displacement isomorphism is one of the isomorphic graphics, this form is widely used in poster design. The article expounds the basic concepts of permutation and isomerization. It illustrates the application of several types of permutation and isomorphism in posters design, analyzes and explores how displacement isomorphism produces new visual images and arouses the resonance and association of viewers, and conveys thematic information . Finally, it points out how designers should grasp the significance of the theme and elements and create works that have both visual impact and ideological content.
