In 1980, the Leningrad Archeological Institute of the Soviet Academy of Sciences discovered a statue of red clay burial from a 4-meter-deep soil layer near the Yajan-Sasushchi Hydroelectric Power Station on the Upper Yenisei River. There are animal bones and stone around the statue. Judged by reliable geological data, here are the ruins of 13,000 to 16,000 years ago. This statue is a Paleolithic art. It was in this Paleolithic age that the ancient and rugged art came into being during the Paleolithic period (35-100,000 years ago). In addition, figurines burned with clay were found on several Paleolithic sites in Czechoslovakia.
