At the time the Beijing Concert Hall had just opened and itwas very hard to get the tickets, but I took every chance avail-able to introduce my daughter to live performance. The experi-ence of a live performance is totally different from listening tomusic at home. As time passes and we have long ago forgottenwhat we heard during our early visits, we continue to remeln-ber the stylish architecture of the concert hall and the portraitsof musicians hung along the corridor walls. Now grown up, mydaughter still loves music and singing. I have always held theopinion that those who love music must surely be full of pas-sion, as my daughter is, who always faces various challenges inlife with a positive and cheerful attitude.
