本文运用功能目的论,从旅游翻译功能和目的出发,对我国一些地方旅游资料英译实例进行剖析,指出译文中的存在问题并提出适当的翻译策略,从而实现让外国游客准确理解并乐于接受景点英文介绍,达到传播中国文化、感召外国游客、促进中国旅游业发展的目的。
This article uses the theory of functional teleology to analyze the examples of English translation of some local tourist materials from the perspective of tourism translation function and purpose, points out the existing problems in the translation and proposes appropriate translation strategies so as to enable foreign tourists to understand and be willing to accept the attractions English introduction to achieve the purpose of spreading Chinese culture, inviting foreign tourists and promoting the development of China’s tourism industry.
