Before class:
T: We’ll have a PK today.The first group and the second group compete: Whose tree’s apples are most.[上课前讲明比赛规则:正确回答问题会得到一个苹果。]
Class begins
Step 1Warm up and have a call
1.T: Follow me, do some sports:
Run, run, we are running.
Jog, jog, we are jogging.
Walk, walk , we are walking.
Jump/ swim/ wash/ sleep/ sit, sit, we are sitting.
2.T: I have some pictures of Super stars. I like Xiao Shenyang. Which one do you like?
S: I like…(5人答)
T: Most of you like Xiao Shenyang. Shall we call him?
S: Great.
3.人机对话
(教师手机拨号,电话铃响) T: Hello, is that Xiao Shenyang?
机:Yes, speaking.
T: Oh, I like you very much. May I know something about you?
机:OK.
T: What sport do you like?
机:I like dancing.
T: How many people are there in your family?
机:Three.My wife, my daughter and I.
T: What are you doing now?
机:Guess.What am I doing?
T: You are singing.
机:Sorry, you are wrong. Guess: what am I doing?
T: You are reading.
机:Sorry, you are wrong.
T asks Ss: Can you help me? You are…
T引导S说:“You are…”,学生答。T点击电脑:Sorry, you are wrong.
S反复猜后,T点击电脑:“Yes, you are right.”

T: What colour do you like?
S1: I like red.
T: My new coat is red, too.
T: What are you doing now?
S1: Guess.What am I doing?(做动作)

5.Work in pairs.(记者电话采访明星)
要求:(1)聊聊明星目前正在做什么?
(2)也可以聊聊明星的爱好、家庭、饮食以及其他。
Make a play.(两组学生表演,明星戴墨镜,牛仔帽;记者带记者证)(画苹果奖励)
【以上教学构思巧妙:不是照搬书上的“我做动作你来猜”学习句型“What are you doing?”,而是设置一种活动,打电话给明星,并且是笑星“小沈阳”。以记者电话采访的形式,把本课的电话交际用语和四会句型(进行时)巧妙地组合在一起,让学生充分练习。】

T: This is Sherry speaking. My students want to go to your house. Are you free now?
机:No, I’m learning English. Can you and your students come and help me with my English?
