2000年6月,继北京正负电子对撞机之后,我国又一项重大原子核物理工程上海同步辐射装置预研工程面向国内外公开招标第三段光源铝真空室工程。来自深圳的威士达真空系统工程有限公司继合肥同步辐射工程之后第二次击败了众多大公司,再次参与国家重大物理工程。2000年11月,威士达公司制作的8米段真空电子储存环,各项重要数据全部达到国际一流水平,一次性通过国家验收。据悉,这是第一家深圳民营科技企业参与国家重大攻关工程。最近,深圳威士达真空系统工程有限公司整体变更为深圳豪威真空光电子股份有限公司。总裁许生,作为中国第一条ITO导电玻璃生产线的总工程师并率先提出三年建成“中国真空光电子设备及材料产业化基地”的战略构想,将豪威科技打造成中国真空光电子领域集工艺、设备、产品开发生产的的领先企业。
