On a hot summer about 10 years ago, in my high school science project, I was using pig manure to remove maggots. At that time, of course, I wanted to know if these results were worth the effort. Although sometimes these things emit a stench, science projects are an important part of my school life. Now is my 4th year as a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Microbiology Labs. I do not know where I can still have these early investigative opportunities. When I was in Grade 7, I joined my first National Science Day event in Ohio.
