Objective: To analyze the relationship between white blood cell count, blood glucose, blood pressure and electrocardiogram and the prognosis of acute cerebral infarction. Methods: The patients with acute cerebral infarction complicated with elevated white blood cell count, hyperglycemia, hypertension and abnormal electrocardiogram were compared with the cure rate, improvement rate, unhealed rate and mortality in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Results: The cure rate, improvement rate, unhealed rate and mortality of patients with simple acute cerebral infarction were significantly different from those with combined leukocyte count, hyperglycemia, hypertension and abnormal electrocardiogram (P <0.01). CONCLUSIONS: Elevated white blood cell counts, heart disease suggestive of hyperglycemia, hypertension, and abnormal ECG affect the near-term prognosis of acute cerebral infarction.
