Objectives To understand the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of AIDS in pregnant women with HIV in different endemic areas in Yunnan Province, and to provide evidence for the promotion of public education, and to block the voluntary counseling and testing of vertical mother-to-child transmission. Methods The provinces, regions and counties were selected for geographical distribution. Pregnant women from four regions with high HIV prevalence among pregnant women were selected as the survey subjects. Questionnaires were used to collect knowledge and attitudes on AIDS, especially mother-to-child transmission. Behavioral data. Results A total of 780 pregnant and maternal women were investigated in 4 regions, of which 6 41 had heard of AIDS, accounting for 82 2%. The correct response rate for the three transmission routes was 55% to 83%, but 73% of the pregnant women They believe that sharing, kissing, shaking hands or going to the toilet in daily life will spread, 37 2% of people accept the concept of premarital sexual behavior, and 77 2% to 81 8% of pregnant women think HIV should be added to premarital examinations and prenatal examinations. In the test, 91.4% of pregnant women are willing to provide doctors with knowledge about HIV knowledge; 83-64% of women are willing to undergo artificial abortion, caesarean section, and medications to reduce vertical transmission. 6 2 1% of pregnant women recognize that condoms can prevent the spread of AIDS. Conclusions Maternal and childbearing women have low awareness of AIDS, but are willing to actively participate in efforts to reduce the vertical transmission of HIV. It is necessary to step up the prevention of AIDS propaganda and education, and in particular, to explore and reduce the vertical transmission of HIV in pregnant women in key regions as soon as possible so as to prevent the mother-infant vertical transmission of AIDS.
