对于中国人而言,食物不仅是用来裹腹的,还可用来治病养生。中医有“药食同源”的说法。我们这里着重来讲一讲食物的味。辛,它“能散能行”。“散”指的是发散,“行”指的是行气、行血。比如,人吃完辣椒后会浑身冒汗,这就是它“发散”的功效。人跌倒受伤以致瘀青后,往往会用热酒来搓受伤的部位,为的就是活血行血,这就是它“行”的功效了。正是因为辛的这种功效,所以多用于解表药、行气药及活血药中。
For Chinese, food is not only used to wrap the belly, but also can be used to cure diseases. Chinese medicine has “medicine and edible” argument. We focus here on the taste of food.
