A stern father was taking his little son Tom for a walk in the park when a bee landed on a rock in front of them. The little boy stepped forward and crushed the bee with his shoe. The father said： “That was cruel, and you’ll get no honey for a whole year.”
Later Tom deliberately stepped on a butterfly. Then his father said: “You will get no butter for a whole year.”
When they returned home, Tom’s mother was making dinner. As they walked into the kitchen, she spied a cockroach and immediately crushed it. Tom looked at his father and asked, “Mummy will get no cockroach for a whole year. Shall I tell her, Dad, or will you?”
一年没有蟑螂吃
一个严厉的父亲带着他的儿子小汤姆在公园散步，突然一只蜜蜂落到前面的石头上。儿子疾步上前把蜜蜂给踩死了。父亲说：“你真是太残忍了，一年你都将没有蜂蜜吃。”
后来汤姆又故意踩死了一只蝴蝶。父亲说：“一年你都将不会有黄油吃。”
回到家里，小汤姆的妈妈正在做饭。当他们来到厨房时正好看到妈妈打死了一只蟑螂。小汤姆便对父亲说：“妈妈一年内将不会有蟑螂吃。这话咱们俩谁跟她说？”
