By means of multi-level Rasch measurement model, the reliability of self-assessment and peer-review model of college English writing students was quantitatively analyzed. The study found that students tend to judge more severely when they self-assessment, and they tend to underestimate their writing ability, and they have low mutual trust with teachers’ assessment results. When the students evaluate each other, the overall judgment is more relaxed. Have a high mutual trust between. These results indicate that caution should be exercised when introducing the self-assessment model as a formal essay evaluation model in the college English writing classroom. However, due to its high mutual trust, peer comparisons have led to an increase in enrollment in universities and an ever-heavier teacher assessment task in today’s college English writing class Habitat, is a good supplement to teacher essay review.
