由于仪表着陆系统 ILS 在技术上和使用上的局限性,逐渐地不再适应迅速发展的航空事业。旨在克服 ILS 局限性,应运而生的微波着陆系统 MLS,以它明显的优越性显示了取代 ILS 的必然趋势。国际民航组织(ICAO)已正式采纳了MLS 技术,并作出了 LIS 的使用保护期到1997年为止的规定。作为 ICAO 成员国,我国民航理应尽早地作出反应,结合具体的情况制订出在我国切实可行的由 ILS 向MLS 的过程计划,以完成建立新的着陆引导国际标准。
Due to the technical and practical limitations of the ILS, ILS is gradually no longer adapting to the rapidly developing aviation industry. Designed to overcome the limitations of ILS, came into being microwave landing system MLS, with its obvious superiority shows the inevitable trend to replace ILS. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has formally adopted the MLS technology and has made provisions for the protection of the LIS until 1997. As an ICAO member state, China’s civil aviation should respond as soon as possible and formulate a practical ILS-to-MLS process plan in China to complete the establishment of a new international standard for landing guidance.
