鲁奇诺·维斯康蒂(1906—1976)是意大利新现实主义电影大师,乔治·萨杜尔在《世界电影史》中,把他与罗西里尼、德·西卡并称为新现实主义的三位大师。他拍摄了《沉沦》《大地在波动》《小美人》等多部反映意大利底层劳动人民的作品,用新现实主义的手法,对当时意大利社会的黑暗进行了揭露和抨击。但是,在创作晚期,他的电影表现出怀旧的情感体验。从新现实主义的纪实、朴素的拍摄手法转变为对贵族生活华丽地呈现;他也从一个无产阶级革命者形象转变为追忆贵族生活的反思者。
Lucino Visconti (1906-1976) is a master of Italian neo-realist cinema, and George Sadul, in his book The World Cinema, calls him and Rossellini and de Sika the new reality Three masters ofism. He filmed numerous works reflecting the working people in Italy, such as “Degradation,” “The Earth is Fluctuating,” and “Little Americans.” He exposed and criticized the darkness of the Italian society in the light of neo-realism. However, in the later stages of his creation, his films show nostalgic emotional experiences. From the realism of the new realism, simple shooting techniques for the aristocratic life gorgeous rendering; he also changed from a proletarian revolutionary image to reflect the aristocratic life reflection.
