Starting from “narrative perspective” in fictional narratology theory, this paper explores how Calvino ’s “lighthearted aesthetics” can be realized. The changing narrative techniques in the baron of the tree, such as the transcendence of multiple perspectives and the limited perspective of transcendence, create a unique aesthetic experience for readers.
