对南极普里兹湾海区NP95_1柱样沉积物粒度、磁学参数等研究表明 ,15ka以来南极海区沉积了两套冰碛层 ,分别对应着南极地区的YoungerDryas冷事件和Heinrich 1冷事件 ,其中YD发生于 11 7~ 10 3ka ,H1事件发生于 14 3~ 13 6ka ,南极地区的全新世始于约 10 3ka .研究表明 ,南极 15ka以来的古气候变化可与全球其他地区的古气候变化资料相对应 ,表明了千年尺度的古气候变化具有全球性和同时性 .此外 ,磁组构分析还表明 ,古气候的变化与大洋环流的改组密切相关 .
