The Wenckebach Period of Alternate Beats or Alternating Wenckebach Periodicity refers to the 2: 1 conduction between the antrioventricular compartments while the down-delivered excited P (F) -R interphase is successively prolonged and finally produced An ECG manifestation of 3: 1 or 4: 1 conduction block. Its clinical manifestations are common in atrial flutter (or atrial tachycardia) with alternating 2: 1 to 3: 1 (or 4: 1) conduction. This type of arrhythmia mentioned in the general ECG less often easy to miss. Nearly one case is now discussed in conjunction with the literature review.
