Objective: To investigate the role of CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 + T cells in the pathogenesis of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB). Methods: Totally 31 patients with MDR-TB, 33 patients with drug-susceptible TB (S-TB) and 30 healthy controls (HC) were randomly selected. The levels of CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 + T cells. Results: The CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 + T cells in peripheral blood of S-TB patients accounted for about 2.43 ± 0.69% of CD4 + T cells, which was significantly higher than that of healthy individuals (1.61 ± 0.46)%, the difference between the two groups was significant The percentage of CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 + T cells in peripheral blood of MDR-TB patients was (3.14 ± 0.59)% of CD4 + T cells, which was significantly higher than that of S-TB patients. There was significant difference between the two groups Statistical significance. Conclusion: CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 + T cells in peripheral blood of MDR-TB patients significantly increased, revealing that MDR-TB plays an important role in the pathogenesis of MDR-TB.
