大连市甘井子区辛寨乡前革村西山樱桃园始建于1956年,总面积109亩,共2018株,其中29年生结果树占地35.7亩,661株。该园株行距为6×6米,砧木为青肤樱,品种以那翁为主(占81％),授粉品种有滨库、大紫、日出等。全园树体完整,树势健壮,1980～1983年平均年产樱桃55630斤,平均亩产1558斤。1983年因花期遭风害总产45210斤,虽然低于前三年的平均产量,但由于樱桃质量好总收入50310元,平均亩产值仍达1409元。园内一株高12.6米,冠径13.5米,树龄为29年生的那翁,株产高达516斤。该园四面环山,背风向阳,地势平缓,土壤较肥沃而疏松,排水好不积水,很适合樱桃树的生长和发育。除园地选择适当外,该园樱桃高产的主要经验是:
