北京钢铁设计研究总院与武汉机械工艺研究所合作进行了冷却壁用TRQT40-20高韧性铁素体基耐热球墨铸铁的熔炼和浇铸工艺的研究。1987年3月30~31日在武汉召开了此项研究成果的专家评审会。到会专家和科研技术人员认为:用工频炉熔炼的铸态TRQ740-20球墨铸铁的性能(见附表)已达到了日本、西德同行业厂家的水平,并认为冷却壁浇铸时防钢管渗碳的涂料和工艺有效可靠。应用这两项新材料和新工艺,可从根本上满足我国目前冷却壁材料和钢管防渗
