次贷危机成为压垮美国金融体系这匹巨大骆驼的最后一根稻草。而毗邻之国加拿大的房市依然在健康发展中。据MLS系统(Multiple Listing Service system)公布,今年第三季度加拿大住宅的平均成交量比去年同期略有下降,平均房价与去年同期基本持平。为什么加拿大的房地产市场能很好地抵御住了这次金融危机带来的动荡呢?主要是在房地产金融领域的监管风格方面,加拿大比较谨慎保守。
The subprime mortgage crisis became the last straw that crushed the giant camel in the U.S. financial system. The neighboring country Canada’s housing market is still healthy development. According to the Multiple Listing Service System (MLS), the average transaction volume of Canadian homes in the third quarter of this year dropped slightly compared with the same period of last year. The average house prices remained basically unchanged from the same period of last year. Why the Canadian real estate market can withstand the turmoil brought about by the financial crisis? Mainly in the real estate finance regulatory style, Canada is more cautious conservative.
