Wullstein(1968),Thornburn(1968)和Aimi(1971)都证实并同意这一解剖结构的重要意义。
The tympanic isthmus is a narrow passage between the tubotympanic cavity and the atticomastoid air space, which was named Proctor’s in 1962. It is physiologically significant in the inflating of the temporal bone system and its obstruction is also a cause of gasification disorders of the temporal bone. Wullstein (1968), Thornburn (1968) and Aimi (1971) both confirmed and agreed on the significance of this anatomical structure. Drum gorge understanding of the anatomy, physiological function and pathological significance contribute to the treatment of chronic middle ear lesions. Otolaryngologists are very much aware of this area in modern otologic surgery. Because of clinical direct sleepy
