香积寺,是唐代净土宗宗师善导和尚厝埋灵骨之地,因此被奉为净土宗祖庭,香积寺也是西安市十大寺庙之一,闻名遐迩。但遗憾的是,长期以来,学术界对这座庙宇的研究非常缺乏,这主要是因资料薄弱有无法突破的瓶颈,本文试图利用碑刻、墓志、诗歌等诸多纷繁资料,尽力搜寻还原盛唐时期香积寺相关的一些历史因缘。对香积寺的历史隋况,最重要的诗歌有《过香积寺》、《香积寺礼拜万回平等二圣僧塔》、《送粲上人兼寄梁镇员外》数首,碑刻有《大唐实际寺故寺主怀恽奉敕赠 Hong plot Temple, is the Tang Dynasty Pure Land Buddhism monks Buddhist monks buried the bones of the earth, it was regarded as Pure Land Zu Ting, Hong plot temple is one of the top ten temples in Xi’an, well-known.
