宋景德元年(1004年),一纸敕令从帝都开封传递到江西省东北部的昌南镇,这个偏居一隅的小镇因出产的瓷器光致茂美,深得宋真宗赏识,被赐名为“景德镇”。2004年,中国轻工业联合会和中国陶瓷工业协会签发的“中国瓷都”牌匾,再由京都而出,这次没在江西停留,直奔岭南而去,落户潮州。景德镇度过了一个尴尬的建镇千年盛典。
