特殊教育“医教结合”是目前我国特殊教育改革探索的一种途径。福利院附属特殊教育学校招收的是被父母遗弃,患有各种残障,在生理、心理和性格的健全等方面都有缺陷的孤残儿童。在这特殊环境下的特殊群体,教育的目的除了帮助他们增长知识,获得技能外,更重要的是通过适合其特点的“医教结合”进行积极的早期干预和有效的心理调适,注重潜能开发和缺陷补偿,促使他们完善人格、增强社会适应能力,帮助他们更好融入社会。让孤残儿童不但学有所教,而且学有所能,成为独立或半独立社会之人,成为社会有用之才。
Special education “combination of education and teaching” is a way to explore the special education reform in our country.
