In the 1990s, neo-liberalism became popular in Latin America. For quite some time, neo-liberalism was generally practiced in Latin America and the common outside of Cuba. Among them, the neo-liberal reforms in Argentina caused great repercussions. This is not only because it was once considered one of the most prosperous emerging countries in the 10 years of reform, but also because its rapid economic crisis after the reform resulted in the near collapse of the domestic economy. Why did the neoliberal economic reform bring catastrophe to the Latin American countries represented by Argentina? And as neo-liberalism ebbs in Latin America, will it eventually withdraw from the stage of history?
