For us, the biggest challenge in participating in the International Competition for Fun City Planning is how to creatively improve the living environment on sites that are neglected or over-determined in urban planning. From this point of view, if you want to activate a metropolitan area by remodeling “acupuncture”, you must consider the local residents as active participants in the project. What we do not want most is that we should not spend a little time thinking of building a ready-made structure on the site and locals consider it alien species and refuse to accept it. This is also not in line with the guidelines for sustainable development.
