Evolutionary ethics attempts to explore the nature and origin of human morality from a naturalistic perspective, and thus derives an entirely different understanding of moral normativity from traditional moral realism. From this, Richard Joyce et al. Tried to show that evolutionary ethics failed to explain the moral norms in the strict sense, though it “demolished” the essence of human morality in some way. Refuting this argument can provide a defensive ethical naturalism.
