[目的/意义]通过对服务规范定义的中美参考咨询馆员能力的比较分析,为提升我国参考咨询馆员能力提供参考。[方法/过程]基于中美参考咨询服务标准与规范,分析两国对参考咨询馆员能力的界定和要求,比较中美参考咨询馆员能力存在的共性和异性。[结果/结论]中美参考咨询馆员都需具备包括知识基础能力、服务组织与设计能力、存取能力、交流沟通能力、营销能力、合作能力以及评价能力在内的7种职业能力,且在每种能力上都有或多或少的差异。
[Purpose / Significance] Through the comparative analysis of the Librarians’ abilities of the China-US reference consultancy defined by the service standards, it provides a reference for the improvement of the reference librarians ability in our country. [Methods / Processes] Based on the standards and norms of reference services in China and the United States, this paper analyzes the definition and requirements of reference librarians’ capabilities in the two countries, and compares the commonality and the opposite sex in the ability of reference librarians in China and the United States. [Results / Conclusions] Both Chinese and American reference librarians need to possess seven kinds of professional abilities including knowledge base ability, service organization and design ability, access ability, communication ability, marketing ability, cooperation ability and evaluation ability, and There are more or less differences in each ability.
