With more than half a century of exploration, the West Sichuan Basin has discovered six oil fields with proven oil reserves of about 1 × 10 8 t. However, the understanding of the petroleum geological characteristics of the basin is still not high. Based on the interpretation of the latest seismic data in the Jiuxi basin, it is found that the Qingsi Depression is not an integrated depression previously thought, and the interior can be divided into three sub-first-order tectonic units. The two concave (Qingnan and Hongnan sags) Qingxi low bump) is its basic structural features. The Lower Cretaceous source rocks in the Qingxi Depression mainly formed in the lacustrine system tract developed in the semi-deep lacustrine-deep lake depositional environment. Although the distribution area is small, they are very thick (over 2 in both the Qingnan and Hongnan sags 5 0 0m). The main source rocks, such as the Chijinbao Formation and Xiagou Formation and Zhonggou Formation, are good source rocks with high organic matter abundance and an average organic carbon content of 1% -2%. The average pyrolysis potential oil potential The content of chloroform bitumen “A” and total hydrocarbon were 1.5 ‰ and 0.9 ‰, respectively. The organic matter types were mainly type Ⅱ and type Ⅰ, and the content of hydrogen-rich microscopic components High content, high hydrocarbon potential. The Hongnan depression on the northwestern side of Qingxi low relief is oil-bearing depression, and the tectonic location is very favorable. The central Qingxi depression should be the main target area for deep exploration in Jiuxi basin. Figure 4 Table 3 (Wang Xiaoling Abstract)
