血管钙化是心血管疾病如动脉粥样硬化、肾病、收缩性高血压、糖尿病等共同的病生理基础,主要是血管壁钙盐异常沉积,与血管粥样硬化及血管顺应性降低密切相关。对血管钙化机制和治疗方法研究对临床会有极大的帮助。而近年来大量研究证明,他汀类药物不仅有降脂作用,具有抑制血管平滑肌成骨样分化、抗炎抗氧化、凋亡等机制,可能对防御或治疗血管钙化也有一定的影响,作者选具有代表性的他汀类药物—阿托伐他汀,对血管钙化影响的研究进展做综述。
