天下同归而殊途,一致而百虑。——《周易·系辞下》有人说,研究WTO的人士主要有两类:一类是经济与贸易学家,另一类是法学工作者。这大概是由于,世界贸易组织法也和国际经济法的其他领域一样,需要多学科(multi-disciplinary)的视角和研究方法,而法学和经济学则是其中最重要的两个学科。有鉴于此,笔者选择了两本分别由法学家和经济学家所撰写的GATT/WTO专著,希望在对两者的对照与比较中获得某些新鲜的认识。其中一本书是有“GATT之父”之称的约翰·杰克逊
The same world and the rest of the world, consistent and a hundred thoughts. - “The Book of Changes.” Some people say that there are two main types of people studying the WTO: one is the economic and trade scientist and the other is the legal worker. This is probably due to the fact that the WTO law, like other areas of international economic law, requires a multi-disciplinary perspective and research methodology, while law and economics are among the two most important of these disciplines. In view of this, I chose two GATT / WTO monographs written by jurists and economists, respectively, hoping to gain some fresh understanding of the comparison and comparison between the two. One of the books is John Jackson, known as the “Father of GATT.”
