Canada’s “Neptune” Underwater Observatory (NEPTUNE-Canada) is the world’s first deep-sea seabed large-scale networking observation station, located in the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, the far north of the plate. It is the science of plate tectonic movement, sub-sea fluid, marine life and climate, and deep-sea ecosystems. It connects equipment installed on the seafloor by submarine fiber optic cables and performs real-time and continuous observation, and transmits the observation information through optical cables Land laboratory. In addition, NEPTUNE-Canada also has a new mode of management and operation and an open data management model, which is worth our reference when launching the construction of undersea observation network.
