5.12汶川大地震,最明显的灾情就是建筑倒塌、道路破坏、人员伤亡。绵阳、都江堰的地震烈度超过8度,汶川等震中烈度要超过10度。本次地震是继唐山大地震以来,我国发生的最为严重的一次。从这次地震的震害资料中不难看出,很多房屋的破坏程度跟结构体系及抗震构造措施设计的合理性是密切相关的,作为一名结构设计人员,认真总结震害经验教训、分析研究建筑结构破坏的原因、提出改进设计与施工的方法是义不容辞的职责。笔者根据查阅的大量震害资料,对结构的抗震设计提出了一些自己的看法。
