The Fourth Military Medical University of Xi’an is the first national key medical university to enter the national “211 Project”. The Orthopaedics Department of the Tangdu Hospital is one of the first batch of subjects approved by the State Department for master’s degree granting. It is also approved as a discipline for the granting of doctoral degrees and has been established. The Army Orthopaedics Center and the All Army Bone Tumor Research Institute. In October 1998, a newly established Tangjia Hospital Orthopaedics Center was built with a total floor area of 72.
