Educational ecology is a new knowledge sprouted in the second half of the 20th century and belongs to a cross-cutting edge discipline. Simply put, it refers to the use of the basic principles of ecology to study the ecology of education science. Strictly speaking, it is still an under-developed discipline, but applying it to the study of art education has important cultural significance and aesthetic effect. This article makes a brief comparison and discussion on the evolution of the ecological style of Chinese folk art and Australian indigenous art from the perspective of art education’s ecological awareness.
