2011年8月6日,国际三大评级机构之一的标准普尔宣布将美国的长期主权信用评级由最高级别的AAA下调至AA+,美国历史上第一次丧失了3A主权的信用评级。2011年8月8日,是美国主权信用评级下调后的首个交易日,美国股市首先遭遇黑色星期一,道琼斯指数当日跌幅达5.55%,纳斯达克综合指数跌幅6.90%,标准普尔500指数当日跌幅6.66%,在美国两大交易所,纳斯达克交易所和纽约交易所一天蒸发的市值就超过万亿美元。因为投资者对美国经济前景不确定性的担忧加剧,恐慌情绪迅速蔓延到全世界的资本市场,最终触发了一场世界股灾,8日当天,德国股市跌5%,俄罗斯跌7.84%,巴西跌8.09%,韩国跌6.63%,中国方面,沪综指遭到重创,下跌3.79%,创年内最大单日跌幅。
On August 6, 2011, Standard & Poor’s, one of the top three rating agencies, announced that it will downgrade the long-term sovereign credit rating of the United States from AAA, the highest level, to AA +. For the first time in the history of the United States, its credit rating of 3A sovereignty was lost. On August 8, 2011, the first trading day after the U.S. sovereign credit rating was lowered, the U.S. stock market first encountered Black Monday, the Dow Jones index dropped 5.55% on the same day, the Nasdaq Composite fell 6.90%, the S & P 500 6.66% decline the same day, in the two major exchanges in the United States, NASDAQ Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange day market value of more than trillion dollars.
